Matthew Luciani
Associate
Matthew Luciani is a complex litigation attorney and a key member of the firm’s multi-jurisdictional practice. While his work primarily focuses on antitrust and unfair competition claims, partnership disputes, and derivative actions, his broad experience enables him to be both an efficient and effective litigator. His combined background in tax, securities, and extensive hospitality industry experience provides valuable insight into clients’ business needs, allowing him to navigate complex issues affecting payments businesses and advocate effectively in litigation.
Before joining Global, Matthew worked with a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer’s College, where he focused on employment and estate litigation. Prior to law school, he obtained his Series 7 General Securities License, Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law License, and Life and Health Insurance Licenses. He later attended Ave Maria School of Law, serving on the school’s finance committee, and pursued further studies in tax law at the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Originally from the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area, Matthew now splits his time between Global’s San Diego and Boca Raton offices. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and hiking with his dog, Stugots Chester (“Stewie”).
